COMBAT UNDER EYE CIRCLES

Having a hard time staying awake this week after an almost four day weekend? Yep, me too. It's already hard enough getting myself out of bed in the morning but the past two days have been worse. Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not complaining about having more time off, I just miss the weekend extra right now and it's raining…

Enough of my complaining, onto the solution for my tired eyes. I picked up the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy about a month ago on a whim in Sephora, and we have become quite close friends since. This is an all around awesome product, it is an under eye treatment that smooths, depuffs, and brightens those dark circles that make you look tired. What I love about this stuff is that not only is it an instant fix (its metal applicator soothes and cools to depuff and the pink color brightens), but it also contains anti-aging properties for improved results over time. Since I started using this in the mornings, I find I use a lot less concealer, which results in a smoother finish with no caking or creasing.

After I apply my First Aid Beauty Eye Duty and then my base, I don't find the need for too much concealer, except for brightening purposes. I always find myself reaching for my favorite Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer for this purpose, as it is super pigmented but not at all drying or overly thick. I especially like the look of this concealer under the eyes when layered on top of the First Aid Beauty product, as it makes it appear even less noticeable. Since trying out this duo of circle-fighting wonders, I have to say I haven't really been reaching for anything else in my stash, at all...

  1. What shade do you use in the Nars? I have it in Vanilla and I adore it! Xxx

    1. I use it in Vanilla as well! This is the best concealer I have yet to come across, so creamy and brightening, but never cakey :)
