There are many things in life that annoy me, but it's hard to beat that feeling of running out of a favorite product and either you don't want to shell out the cash or don't have immediate access to it. Do you know my pain? Well, a few weeks back I ran out of my Eve Lom original cleanser and was a bit distraught - what would I use to give myself facial massages? I hadn't even thought about purchasing a backup because it took me so long to run through the tub as I don't use it as my daily cleanser.

Basically, I was SOL if you catch my drift, and that's exactly when I remembered I had a little pot of Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm stashed in my backup bin. I have been digging into this yellow balm ever since and it has become an integral part of my deep cleansing routine that I like to do a few times a week. Let me tell you, this stuff really does the job for about 1/12 of the price of the Eve Lom option. It's 97% organic which is pretty darn good for a drugstore cleanser, leaves my skin soft and hydrated, and is quite literally, a tiny fraction of the price. It's also a recommendation a la Lisa Eldridge. You can thank me now
