MY 'FIVE PRODUCT, NO TOOLS REQUIRED' FACE

Pressed for time in the mornings? Or evenings for that matter. I definitely feel your pain in that particular department, and as a result, have edited my essentials down to five products that help me to look like my natural self, but a bit better.

When I'm short on time I don't want to waste precious minutes poking around my makeup drawers 'ooh-ing' and 'aah-ing' over what items to play around with, I need products that will make me look fresh and ready for the day. After I've cleansed and moisturized my skin, I often opt for a hybrid makeup/skincare product that will even out my skin tone just enough without the need for all the extra blending and work. The Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer is perfect for a brush-free application and a small amount leaves my skin looking naturally smoother and brighter. I was skeptical about this product when I first got my hands on it, as I was using it as a primer and not a tint, which for me left my face basking in too many layers of makeup. Now that I am using it alone I have been loving the smooth look it gives my skin for every day.

In order for me to look like myself, a little eyebrow sprucing comes into play courtesy of the Anastasia Brow Wiz. Without question, I then dab a long lasting metallic brown shade all over the lid, and the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze is perfect as it stays put all day. I then slick on a few coats of mascara and dab on a cream blush to perk things up in the complexion (and lip!) department. I love the Nars Matte Multiple in Siam, a red shade that looks surprisingly natural when used sparingly and with minimal makeup elsewhere.

That's it and I'm out the door...most likely arriving to work early thanks to this parred down product selection.
