Tory Burch on my feet and hanging from my arm? Yes, love it. Tory Burch on my face? Something I could also get used to - just look at that gold embossed packaging. Drools. One of my favorite designers has a capsule makeup collection that could make just about anyone want to streamline their routine (my vanity would probably look a lot more elegant with just a few items on it anyways). Tory's products are all dual purpose and work so well to create a fresh and elegant look whether you're on the go or at home.

I love these products so much, it's probably a good thing there aren't too many items in her collection - I'd seriously fear for my wallet. Starting off with my favorite item, the Lip & Cheek Tint in Cat's Meow is probably the best dual purpose lip and cheek product I've ever tried. I love the shade of this; it's a universally flattering rosy pink that creates the most perfect wash of color on the cheek. It's dewy but not greasy and so long lasting for a cream product. But the reason I love it most is that, for once, it works equally well on the lips as it does on the cheeks. Many products claim to, yes, but this one is moisturizing enough to blend beautifully into both and creates a seamless look.

Then there's the Bronzer & Blush in Divine, which comes encased in a seriously pretty orange palette with gold accents. It's one of those products you want to take out of your bag, hoping someone sees how elegant your makeup is. Maybe that's just me? The powder is a mixture of three natural and pale-girl friendly shades; one bronzer, one blush, and one peachy highlighter, that when swirled together create a really subtle glow and give a hint of color.

Let's not forget the perfect purse-friendly Tory Burch EDP Rollerball that smells so feminine and classic. Notes of tuberose, peony, bergamot, and jasmine are given an unexpected twist of sandalwood and vetiver. This is an easy to wear scent that's really beautiful for Spring - not to mention, I'm having a bit of a thing for florals with an edge at the moment.

Perhaps these are the most beautiful additions to anyone's travel makeup bag or vanity? I'm sure they'll be making into mine come June.

  1. Wow, these are giving the ever-coveted YSL products some serious competition in the packaging department!
