Having been in Italy for the past week, I thought it was only fair I shared with you the products that have been keeping my skin moisturized, bright, and even during long days. I'll spare you going in depth on all the factors that affect your complexion while traveling (we're all aware by now), and get right into the products that help to counter said issues. I successfully packed for this particular trip in one carry on, so keep in mind that my products were chosen to stay within the confines of that pesky 3-1-1 rule, all while helping me save my skin from spiraling out of control - and keeping makeup in place.

Keep the Glow Alive - & skin in tact with portable face masks. At home, masking is a part of my weekly routing just as much as any other product - so why be without this step while traveling? Masks really help to keep skin in check while abroad, so I slap one on every other day to ensure my skin stays calm, bright, and even. You can collect sachets of your favorite from beauty counters when you purchase full size items, or you can easily pick up mask pods. These ones from Nügg are available at Target, so they certainly don't break the bank, but they provide enough product for two full applications. My favorites are the Deep Cleansing mask to keep breakouts at bay without drying the skin, and the Revitalizing Mask for keeping skin bright and plump. The brand also offers a Hydrating Mask for all of those suffering from dry skin, and 6 (2 of each) can be purchased in this set. Best of all, you don't need to worry about having your Sisley masks confiscated from you by an angry member of TSA while going through security. Talk about life savers.

Portable Powders - These may remind you of your youth when powder brushes were all the rage, but consider these from Eve Lom their much older, more sophisticated sister. The Eve Lom Sheer Radiance Translucent Powder suits all skin tones and makes both powder application and touch ups a breeze, while adding a bit of filter over the complexion. It's like good lighting in a tube, and eliminates the need for an additional brush. And if you're looking a little pale, add a touch of warmth with their bronzer option - Eve Lom Golden Radiance Bronzing Powder. Sheer genius.

Multi-tasking Sticks - We all know that stick makeup is on-trend. But this is one trend that's here to stay thanks to the number of uses these colored twist-up creams have. One of my favorite formulas come in the form of Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm, as they're creamy and easy to use, and settle to a powder form so you can be sure you won't look overly made up or greasy. The pigmentation is perfect as well as it's not too heavy but definitely noticeable enough to perk up the complexion; perfect for makeup pros and lazy-gals alike.
